Slow Cooker

Today I finally put my slow cooker to use and am making Mulled wine.

Companies Coming, Slow cooker recipies.

2 L Dry Red (or alcohol free)wine
2/3 cup corn syrup
3 Cinnamon sticks
1 tsp whole allspice
1 tsp whole cloves
1 medium Orange, sliced
1 tsp lemon juice
2 cups orange juice(cranberry cocktail)


Combine wine & corn syrup in 3.5 quart(3.5L) slow cooker. Stir.
Tie cinnamon(break into small pieces), allspice, cloves in double layerchese cloth. Add to slow cooker.
Add remaining 3 ingredients. Cover. Cook on Low for at least 3 hours.
Discard spice bag. Discard orange slices if desired.
Makes 9 cups.

Will let you know how it turns out as I plan to take it to christmas dinner with my Mother in law.
