Yule in Victoria
Robert suggested that I make little Santa hats for the stuffed animals. Even though that is a very cute idea, it just is o far down the priority list. Last night I was looking in my craft box and found a bag of fluff balls, of various sizes and colours. Voila, instant Rudolphs.

Just don't ask how they are attached.
Who needs more gifts when great appliances are still in boxes? So I have also finally taken my Slow Cooker (thanks Katy) out of the box and am ready to start experimenting. I got a cook book that was highly recommended by my co-worker and am disappointed that Velveeta, sugar and Ketchup are in many of the recipes. I will have to make a few substitutions. :) Now where is my white out? Send your favorite recipes for me to try.
The fun part this year has been making Sadie a few interesting outfits. I will post pictures after Christmas so no one gets a sneak peek. I had at least 2 more outfits cut out but had to stop sewing and actually send the package.
A friend asked if I could sew a few "Little House on the Prairie" outfits for her daughter, who is 8. We went fabric shopping the week before last and I have most of the project done already. There is a dress and bonnet out of a blue and pink flowery print and a smock/apron with a ruffle out of light blue. The PJ's are a mint green, with a huge ruffle hem.
I also have been shopping for Robert which has been fun too. I have tried to stay away from Malls and focus on smaller independent shops.
