Clay Shampoo

On a bit of a "Green" kick. Green Smoothies started it. I went to a raw food/green smoothie seminar with a friend a few nights ago. The result is that I am incorporating 2 smoothies a day into my diet as well as reducing fat intake. Which means black coffee & tea. It is a toss up as to which will last longer, drinking coffee or no cream.

It has been hard to find a shampoo that does not contain Sodium lauryl/laureth Sulfate. As it is in EVERYTHING!! Toothpaste for cripes sake. Picked up Druide Mint-Lemon Toothpaste, Certified Organic. No artifical ingredients, flavor, colour, sweetener, antibacterial agent sulfate, floride or sugar. Glad it has no sugar because that is just a silly ingredient for toothpaste. Rather counter productive.

Druide Purity Ecological Shampoo does not contain the SLS group. It has a clay base. The grit is very fine and it lathers. The smell reminded me of wet wood, like the cedar in a sauna, rather pleasant. So far my hair is still damp but feels soft.

It is an hour later than when I started the post and ta da! Dry hair. It is soft, light (I have very thick hair) and no tangles. I did not use a conditioner as to keep results true to the product. Will update further results in the morning.
