Pea Soup

Today I made Katy's quick pea soup. It is so simple, with just frozen peas and pepperoni blendered together. The result is sweet and spicy. I do not have a hand blender so poured hot peas into the blender and made a bit of a mess. Apparently hot liquids expand when whizzing around.

The soup was yummy but I put cold water in the blender after the hot peas and the glass cracked. Very upsetting, as it was a wedding gift from Grandma. Drat. Many unhappy words.
