Happy Birthday

to me...




This morning Robert let me sleep in a bit. Then had tea (ran out of coffee) and breakfast ready when I did stumble out of bed. :)

It was a beautiful, sunny, fall day. A bit chilly with breeze and gently falling leaves.

Work was very busy and it did not bother me a bit. On my break I had bubble tea and poutine then bought a bottle of wine for dinner.

Dad sent me a lovely email, Emily (sure gonna miss her) called and sang "Happy Birthday", Annika & Jeanette & Lisa called to wish me "Happy Birthday", Maria sent me a pretty flower picture as a card.




I did open the gift from Mom yesterday. A beautiful set of crocheted and beaded wristlets. Which match a kimono robe I am in the process of making. Fabulous coincidence.

I took Sunday off instead of today as Monday is a holiday and having 2 days off in a row is rare and wonderful.

Phil called and we had a nice talk, lots about work and taxes. It was great that he called. :)

Had a nice chat with Mom on the way to get a movie. Robert picked "The Guru of Sex" it was sweet and funny. I chose "Fire starter 2", so far am not sure why. Might be the wine talking.

In the middle of the movie my phone rang and while hunting for it, Sadie sang" you look like a monkey and you smell like one too!"

So cute.

I can hear either the black eyed peas or swollen members playing at the arena 4 blocks away. Sure glad I am not there.
