The day gets better.
On the walk to work I let a bicyclist go ahead of me. He said "Thank you, have a blessed day". Also passed 2 kids ages 3 or 4 telling each other "why did the chicken cross the road?" jokes. So cute.
Work was good though I was a bit spaced out and preoccupied. That's the same thing really. At the end of my shift I talk to my boss about the whole situation because her sending flowers to her Mother gave me an idea.
Why not send the "Evil Lois" roses and a note letting her know that dealing with people like her makes me appreciate my life and family all the more.
A tad spiteful. Yeppers. Though would feel better than stewing over the conversation and that I was unable to defend myself.
My boss did offer me the use of her garden space as she is just too busy. Many pluses today.
After hitting the library I went home to rip up the new fence and save my strawberry, lavender and oregano plants from the off limits garden. As I was doing so the landlord guy walked by and asked if I had talked to the rental people. I sarcastically said "yes, they were soooo sweet about it".
He replied "they are never sweet to me." Apparently my angry pulling out and throwing of fence stakes was not a hint.
I told him all of the ins and outs of the situation. Even that he and the rental dude said I could use the space, my bad for nothing in writing. Mentally slaps forehead.
His response was "but not forever." Well duh! Nothing is forever. There had not been any boundry or time limit discussed. Then he asked if I talked to Lois. Which I had. He said "she's the worst one." I have to agree. But Len did not mention that he was there yesterday talking to them or mention that he had given permission for my use of the garden.
Off to dye my hair, read and have a nice hot(hopefully) bath. Tomorrow is another day and I am great full for the many blessings that make up my life.
