Beginner Baking

Today I finally used the gas oven. I have lived here for 4 years and avoided it due to fears of blowing up my tiny kitchen.

There was a whooomph and sounds of a small inferno so I turned it off immediately. The second try was much smoother. Robert was standing by with the fire extinguisher.

The sample was a chocolate cake. It turned out pretty good but a bit over cooked. I had a nap due to a migraine so Robert add the candies.
