We have accomplished many tasks. My dress is very close to being done just a hem and sleeves. Katy's dress needs the crinoline to be sewn in. Annika the darling, hired a friend to make her dress. Phew. Aleesha's dress has the zipper, a couple seams and the hem left. Emily's dress on the other hand is cut out with the lining sewn together and the rest to do. It is a simple yet elegant dress so should be relatively quick.
Karen is sewing black tulle by hand and it seems to be a challenge. Though my sleeves are causing a bit of frusteration as well.

It was indeed a challenge, trying to line up four edges and stitch them by hand, and to sew the whole thing in relatively level. And then it didn't look right and all came out again. Luckily, hand stitching is much easier to remove than machine stitching!! Sewing a narrow band at the bottom of the dress looked infinitely better at the end. The effort was worth a few laughs at any rate!!!
